Dr. Grzegorz Turowski urodził się w Łodzi i tam też ukończył Akademię Medyczną. W czasie studiów medycznych odbył dodatkowy roczny staż w  Moguncji w Niemczech Zachodnich. Wkrótce po uzyskaniu dyplomu lekarza wyjechał do USA, gdzie ukończył ponad osiem lat specjalizacji chirurgicznej (residency).

Dr. Turowski uzyskał pełną specjalizację w dziedzinie chirurgii ogólnej w St. Mary’s Hospital/Yale Medical School w Connecticut. Następnie ukończył specjalizację z chirurgii plastycznej i rekonstrukcyjnej na Uniwersytecie Harvarda (Harvard Medical School) w Bostonie. W sumie, w tym czasie wykonał ponad 4000 operacji chirurgicznych. Poza uzyskaniem pełnego wykształcenia klinicznego, odbył doktoranckie studia badawcze na Uniwersytecie Yale i jest autorem wielu prac naukowych, wykładów i publikacji z dziedziny chirugii plastycznej i uzyskał doktorat z chirurgii.
